It is the first time WISS company has delivered firefighting vehicles to South America.
Three heavy firefighting and rescue vehicles were delivered to Chile in May 2020. Despite the COVID 19 pandemic they were transported by sea covering the distance of 9000 nautical miles from Poland to Chile. One of them reached the driest place of the world - the heart of the Atacama Desert.
The fire trucks feature the following parameters:
Chassis: SCANIA P 410 B4x2NZ with a 6-seat cab
Engine power: 410 HP
Superstructure: stainless steel, aluminum and composite elements
Equipment lockers: 3+3+1 closed with shutters
GRP water tank: 4000 litres
Pump: Ruberg Euroline 4000 with an output of 4000 dm³/min. at 10 bar and 400 dm³/ min. at 40 bar
Water monitor: TFT, output of 4000 l/min.
Electric winch (Powerwinch) with a tow capacity of 8000 kg and a rope (30m).
