General Description

The Defender Modular Unit DMU|06 is a fully armored, autonomous next-generation guard post designed by the WISS Research and Development Bureau. It was developed for the protection of critical infrastructure, state borders, military warehouses, airports, and naval bases. It combines combat, observation, welfare, and communication functions in one integrated system.

Operational Autonomy

The DMU|06 is equipped with its own power generator and a 9-meter folding mast adapted for communications, lighting, and observation. The heating and air conditioning system operates in temperatures ranging from -35°C to 50°C, with emergency power supplied by lithium-ion batteries. Additionally, it features an autonomous fire suppression system for fires caused by external attacks.

Additional Features

The post is equipped with armored entry doors, an evacuation hatch, and special dazzler lights used during post-dusk attacks. It has a system of motion sensors, cameras, dazzler lights, and work lights. The time required to achieve readiness for relocation is 120 minutes.

Transport

The DMU|06 can be transported using a sling and transport crane or using the hook-lift system employed by the military and fire service. The total weight of the complete post is 10,000 kg.

Communications

The post is equipped with modern communication systems, including Starlink satellite, GSM, and departmental communications, ensuring uninterrupted communication with command. It has an external thermal imaging camera system as well as audio-video capabilities, which enhance the situational awareness of personnel.

Welfare Facilities

The DMU|06 contains two folding beds for rest, a first aid kit, and a stretcher. It is also equipped with a food refrigerator and microwave oven for crew comfort.
